Assembling Hive Hardware

If you order hive hardware unassembled, you will need to assemble and paint all your hardware and install it in the apiary before your bee packages arrive.  BeeCARE recommends you order fully assembled parts, since the small additional cost far outweighs the time, effort, and opportunity for error involved in assembling everything yourself.  But if you're the do-it-yourselfer at heart, assembly may be for you.  We've included some guidelines here to help you in your quest to put everything together yourself.

	Assembling a Hive Box If you purchase hive boxes that are not preassembled, follow these instructions to put together the boxes securely and precisely.
	Assembling a Hive Stand BeeCARE's Elevated Hive Stands are preassembled, except their legs are detached for shipping.  These instructions show how to attach the legs to the hive stand frame for a sturdy, secure base for your hive that will last for years.
	Assembling a Frame Frames for your brood boxes or honey supers are made of wood and contain either plastic or beeswax foundation.  If you buy your frames unassembled, you can follow these instructions to put them together.
