STATUS OF ORDER PROCESSING

Currently processing orders from: April

Because of my business closures earlier in the year due to addressing personal and family needs arising from the loss of some close loved ones, I am working to catch up on processing a large back-log of orders.  I sincerely apologize for these delays some may have experienced.  I am processing orders as soon as possible in the order they were received, and I sincerely apologize for the problems this may have caused.  If the delays you may have experienced are too long for you, please send me an e-mail requesting cancellation of your order, and I will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Mark Jones

Detail
Queen Excluder
Our premium plastic queen excluders keep the queen out of the honey supers while allowing workers to pass freely to store honey.  These high-quality excluders are also durable and light weight, making them easier to work with than metal queen excluders, even with propolizing bees that tend to stick the excluder to the hive box.

This new design has several benefits over the traditional metal queen excluders:

It allows for easy cleaning, as it is made of one-piece molded plastic.
Each structural rib is rounded, making worker bees' passage through the excluder as easy as with the rods of a metal excluder.
The high frequency of cross-bracings also improves the overall strength and extends the life of the excluder.
This excluder makes it much easier to clean off wax than the metal excluders.  Simply freeze the excluders for a few hours, and then bend them -- the wax will pop right off!
The removal tab that extends from the side of the hive body makes it much easier to remove a stuck-down excluder by hand, often not requiring the use of a hive tool.
As these are much lighter than metal excluders, it will lower your shipping costs, especially if ordering multiple excluders.
