Dual-Access Hive-top Feeder
High Capacity for Infrequent Monitoring and Filling

The Dual-Access Hive-top Feeder has a high 2.7-gallon capacity.  This means that when supplemental sugar syrup feeding is necessary, you spend less time monitoring the bees' consumption of the syrup and refilling it when it is empty.  During peak consumption of syrup, you can expect a healthy hive to consume about one quart per day or even more.  Since you can put more than ten quarts in the feeder, you would need to revisit the hive to monitor the syrup level and refill it only about once each week normally.  And since each feeder is thoroughly leak tested during the manufacturing cycle, the only reason you'll be losing syrup is because the bees are consuming it!
