Fully Integrated Veil
 

This veil is the ultimate in convenience, protection and comfort.  It is integrated into the bee suit and jacket with  simple, foolproof zippers at the collar.  It requires no extra hat, no fumbling with draw strings or clumsy metallic zippers that bind, and no breaking of draw strings when you bend over to pick up a hive box.  Our unique head-rib helps keep the fabric away from the crown of your head.  The veil's accordion reinforcement allows adjustment of the veil facing to your convenience.  This veil provides excellent visibility and freedom of head movement, since it does not require an attached hat.  You also have great ventilation, both from the sides and on the top of your head, so in hot weather you perspire like a beekeeper, not sweat like a pig.

	Integrated and detachable The veil is integrated into the bee suit and jacket with a dual-zipper system that fully encloses the neck and chest.  You may either hang the veil behind the shoulders as shown here, or completely detach the veil from the suit. The hood zippers are sealed at the front and back with Velcro, so even the small gap you may forget and leave between the zippers is naturally closed, making bee access impossible.
	Simple and Secure Closing the veil is simple and foolproof.  Simply pull the hood over your head and pull both zippers toward the front.  As a final step, press at the junction of the two zippers to seal the Velcro.
	Adjustable and Comfortable The hood has an accordion design, reinforced with rigid ribbing.  You may adjust the hood to your convenience, and the screening is wider than what is available on other suits, for better visibility and air flow. Another unique feature of the BeeCARE hood is that the head-piece is made of perforated fabric that is held away from the crown of the head to provide for a cooler, more comfortable beekeeping experience.  The reinforced head-piece also decreases contact with the scalp, in case you are missing some hair, as I obviously am.
	Access to Face The really important issues, like drinking cold water or scratching your face, become critical when you're handling bees in hot weather, and you just can't reach yourself with old-style veils.  The Full-Body Suit and Bee Jacket veil allows you to temporarily open the zippers and to drink through a straw or even reach inside to take a quick scratch.  As experienced beekeepers know, these little things can sometimes feel like life-savers.
