The highlighted area shows the abdomen of an Italian honeybee (apis mellifera ligustica), commonly called the 3-banded Italian bee. The abdomen is the long region at the rear of the honeybee's body, containing the major body organs, including the honey stomach, true stomach, sting sac, and in the queen, the ovaries. The illustration here shows a worker bee. The queen's abdomen is much longer and slightly wider, and the drone's abdomen is much wider and stubbier.
