Smoker Fuel
 

We prefer using processed wood pellets as smoker fuel.  The pellets burn clean and cool, are long-lasting, easy to light, deposit little tar on the smoker, and are very cheap.  The 40lb bag will last you several years if you only work a few hives.  This 5lb bag is enough fuel for up to 10 apiary visits, all through the spring or the fall.   Wood Pellet Fuel Contents Grade Premium Material Hardwood Ash Less than 1% Fines Less than 0.5% Sodium Less than 300 PPM
